COFFEE DREAMS is a collection of sustainable jewelry made from Nespresso capsules embellished with other recycled materials: metal, glass, ceramic beads, copper, brass wires, clockwork pieces and chains. When I first saw the capsules, they looked like candies on her counter. A friend of mine was just throwing them away, so I got her to save some for me and I started to play around with them. From that moment I started drinking and dreaming coffee. And I started wrapping my mind and my hands in colors, pieces, tools to create texture, geometry, elegance, funkiness and just beauty. My jewelry collection is a microcosmos that instigates a conversation. Besides, we all need a little eye candy!

When I drink coffee my mind starts to wander, I love coffee shops, I like to see people and it feels like our thoughts are tangled in the flavor of coffee. Each piece of my collection is unique. I love exploring thrift shops, flea markets, but I always had an eye for contemporary design. It’s part of the ecological thinking that clothes and jewelry don’t have to go to the landfill. Through creative vision and compassion, we can bring life and beauty back. My goal in design is to create with care for others, what surrounds us, to connect through beauty, patience, love and generosity.

My vision is that wearing handmade, unique, sustainable jewelry is an exploration of growth, transformation, loss and renewal. We are constantly in motion, we have to shape and rediscover the beauty in us to carry it with us, on us. It is a celestial energy field to reach a final goal, simplicity- the ultimate sophistication.
